The Toxic News e-magazine was conceived as a result of the interdisciplinary and international European Research Commission (ERC)-funded project Toxic Expertise, which examines competing claims about the health effects of pollution, focusing on the global petrochemical industry. As researchers seeking to make sense of a particular set of concerns within the wide-ranging area of ‘toxic’ studies, we have put together this magazine as a forum for discussion and debate.
